Job Description

The post holder will work collaboratively with the R&D Nurse Manager, R&D Governance Facilitator, Principle Investigators and Research Delivery team along with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure the smooth running of the R&D Service
The main purpose of the role is to support the Research & Development team with all aspects of clinical trials administration, according to Good Clinical Practice, Standard Operating Procedures and Trust policies. The post holder will provide support to the R&D Manager, R&D Governance Facilitator and the wider clinical research delivery team.
The post-holder will assist with the administration of clinical trials, from feasibility to archiving including:

• Assisting with the efficient and timely set up of clinical trials.
• Assisting with the tracking of clinical trial income and raising of invoices.
• Assisting with the maintenance and quality assurance of all trial related documentation in accordance with relevant legislation and guidelines.

• Assisting with preparation for audit and inspection.
• Managing own workload of daily trial activity, including case report form completion and data query resolution to meet internal and external deadlines.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Candidates should possess a professional attitude to their work and have the ability to work flexibly in a busy environment. Ideally candidates will have experience of working in clinical trials and/or data management. An excellent organizer, you will have a meticulous approach and attention to detail.
