Your new role

• Caretaker of the future development and maintenance of prof.ITplus, the

established ERP solution.

• Ensuring quality in everything the team delivers, from development through to

testing and deployment.

• Drive and improve the reliability of new product development processes.
• Review of current automation with a view of enhancing to improve release quality

and manage regression testing.

• Customer escalation and expectation setting.
• Negotiation: working with stakeholders to juggle priorities and timelines.
• Project scoping & planning: You understand how to scope a project and

understand how to define and shape the key deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

• Taking responsibility as the change process owner for the prof.ITplus system
• Working with the 3rd line team to ensure performance targets against OLA's &
• KPI's are achieved.

What you'll need to succeed

• A strong technical manager who has experience of leading development teams.
• Particularly interested in candidates who are experienced working with well-established, feature-rich applications.
• A track record of driving process improvement.
• An ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Critical thinker and detail and results oriented.
• Extensive experience of:
  • Software development lifecycles
  • Test Methodologies
  • Automation Strategy
• Experience of setting goals and driving a high performing team.
• A passion for quality that drives the business forwards.
• Comfortable with technology: we are not looking for someone to be a master of all,

but someone with enough experience to know if your team are using the tools and technologies they have effectively.

• Managing a busy and effective team.
• An advocate for quality.
