Job Description

This post will involve contribution to our project, as well as to other consultancy and research projects within the Heating and Cooling Group. The post-holder will support the management of the project by liaising with LSBU finance, procurement, legal and research and enterprise departments and with our project partners.

Main areas of responsibility

  • Assist Project Manager in collecting and processing data from project partners for quarterly reports to InnovateUK, such as spend profiles, deliverables, reports, etc.
  • Liaise with relevant people in LSBU Finance and Procurement to raise purchase orders, process invoices and set up new suppliers
  • Assist in writing project meeting minutes and organizing team meetings
  • To liaise with LSBU Legal and Research, Enterprise and Innovation teams on collaborations agreements and Non-Disclosure agreements and project finance forms
  • To support in project branding activities, i.e. collecting information for websites and press articles

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
What we are looking for: Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Confident in building an effective and warm rapport with a wide range of stakeholders. Ability to work on a variety of projects individually and across teams. Be proficient in Microsoft Office. Numerate and able to interpret spreadsheets. Self-starter with advanced organizational ability, excellent planning and prioritizing capabilities (essential). Proactive approach to delivery at pace (essential). Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Good team player (essential). Some basic knowledge of the energy sector would be desirable but is not essential.
