Job Description

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Increasing customer involvement, both in person and using digital methods, ensuring tenants understand how they can influence change and actively participate in issues relating to their communities.
  • Develop content, post information and act as the moderator on specific social media platforms.
  • Seek out grant funding opportunities and prepare and submit bids where appropriate.
  • Promote and publicise an effective customer focused Community Engagement service
  • Undertake activities that meet with the organisation’s strategic objectives and improving local communities.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of working in a high standard customer focused role
  • Can work independently and also as part of a larger team, working with various services and organisations.
  • Has experience of chairing and managing meetings
  • Has strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience of delivering change through engagement would be advantageous
  • Is able to manage their own workload and has strong organisational skills
  • Is a competent IT user with strong Microsoft Office and excellent social media skills
  • The role will involve driving therefore the post holder must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a car.
