Job Description

Other key responsibilities:

  • Ensure projects are delivered within budget and undertake the required cost management and reporting. Ensuring appropriate performance management controls are deployed per contract.
  • Successfully managing a small team to achieve required outcomes
  • Ensure on a project by project basis the organisation complies with the requirements of CDM 2015 and where applicable and the need arises, act in the capacity of the Principal Designer as detailed within CDM 2015.
  • Successful management of all aspects of sub- contract and suppliers procurement in accordance with policies, standing orders and financial regulations
  • Ensure they remain compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements in regard to servicing and maintenance within social housing

They are looking for an experienced project manager from the construction / property sector. Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen are essential and you will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of statutory, H&S legislation, contract and regulatory requirements as pertaining to the housing sector.

A good people manager, you will have the ability to coach and motivate members of the team and be able to problem solve and work under pressure to strict deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other project management software/Housing databases is also required.
