THE ROLE
Coordination, maintenance and implementation of Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies & procedures
Management, investigation and resolution of Customer Complaints, internal non-conformity's and vendor complaints
Leading & supervising any team members
Carry out subordinate appraisals once a year and review.
Monitor & review the performance of the team & individual team members
Ensure staff are trained to a high standard
Collation of gas, electricity and water consumption figures and reconciliation of these against utility bills. Compilation of monthly graphs and publication of quarterly environmental reports.
Participation in and leading internal QSHE System audits and ensure internal audit schedule is maintained, including support of internal auditors - training, guidance, etc.
Participation in external audits and primary contact for liaison with external certification bodies
Conducting supplier audits as necessary.
Ensure risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work are carried out
Investigation of incidents, analysis of trends and implementation of corrective actions
Continuous improvement projects
Implementation and interpretation of new knowledge within the Environmental and Health & Safety field
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management within a food / FMCG manufacturing environment Knowledge and understanding of ISO:9001 and ISO:14001 Knowledge of BRC or GMP are highly desirable
