THE ROLE

• Coordination, maintenance and implementation of Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety policies & procedures
• Management, investigation and resolution of Customer Complaints, internal non-conformity's and vendor complaints
• Leading & supervising any team members
• Carry out subordinate appraisals once a year and review.
• Monitor & review the performance of the team & individual team members
• Ensure staff are trained to a high standard
• Collation of gas, electricity and water consumption figures and reconciliation of these against utility bills. Compilation of monthly graphs and publication of quarterly environmental reports.
• Participation in and leading internal QSHE System audits and ensure internal audit schedule is maintained, including support of internal auditors - training, guidance, etc.
• Participation in external audits and primary contact for liaison with external certification bodies
• Conducting supplier audits as necessary.
• Ensure risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work are carried out
• Investigation of incidents, analysis of trends and implementation of corrective actions
• Continuous improvement projects
• Implementation and interpretation of new knowledge within the Environmental and Health & Safety field

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management within a food / FMCG manufacturing environment Knowledge and understanding of ISO:9001 and ISO:14001 Knowledge of BRC or GMP are highly desirable
