This is a great opportunity for someone to gain project experience and progress knowledge in HR operations, recruitment and talent management in an international humanitarian context.
The candidate will gain a close insight into the work of the International HR team as well as the wider International Directorate and will be given an opportunity to learn more about the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement and the ways in which the British Red Cross supports it.
Main responsibilities
Support the Talent Officer with register engagement, including drafting and sending engagement emails
Support the Talent team to implement changes identified through the register engagement review. For example, recruitment administration for targeted delegate recruitment, survey design etc.
Provide general admin support and data maintenance with Register Deployment Information database, e.g. logging and inputting information on recent overseas emergency deployments.
Making full use of the training, development and accreditation opportunities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Level 2 English and Math or working towards it. Keen interest in HR and Talent Management. A good organizer, with attention to detail capable of excellent administration. Good written and verbal communication skills. Good IT skills. Resilient and flexible, with ability to adapt to rapidly changing needs.
