Job Description

• Preparation of statutory accounts for multiple group entities
• Responsible for the review of group VAT returns, whilst ensuring correct compliance
• Keep on top of all current reporting standards and provide in depth analysis and commentary on the potential impact to the business
• Play a key role in the audit process, liaising with auditors to ensure the highest levels of accuracy
• Assist the Financial Controller with tax matters for the group, providing insight into the current legislation and what this means for the business
• Provide support and guidance for Senior Management where required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have a strong technical accounting ability and an up to date knowledge of reporting standards (IFRS/FRS).  You will also have a thorough understanding of business tax and past experience of owning the end to end financial reporting process in a similar role.
