Job Description
  • Providing a comprehensive and highly confidential executive personal assistance and administrative support service to the Head of Corporate Communications and other members of the Corporate Communications team
  • Complex day to day diary management, Inbox management as well as written communication with audiences including media and government officials, as well as internal senior leadership
  • Event co-ordination including supporting the arrangement of external media and government events, and internal team events
  • Acting as a main point of contact for the team, screening and handling calls as appropriate from internal stakeholders and the team (and occasionally those from our external target audience)
  • Managing a number of key documents for the team including planners and evaluation, and the relationship with companies that support these
  • Supporting the production of reports and presentations plus other general administration and ad-hoc duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You must be driven and be a proven performer, with a diplomatic and tactful approach, who is used to handling sensitive and confidential information. You will be an ambassador of the firm. Demonstrate a strong level of PC expertise, spanning MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint. Be an excellent communicator and organizer, able to work on your own initiative and display enthusiasm for your own career progression, Have a conscientious and proactive approach, coupled with a proven ability to plan and priorities multi-task requests within short timescales and demanding deadlines. Finally, a strong willingness to learn about Corporate Communications and a commitment to gain knowledge on the subject matter area this team operates within.
