Job Description

This role will suit those who have an ability to multi-task and re-priorities work in line with changing priorities. You will be joining a busy team and be expected to work with limited supervision to provide diary and administrative support. You will communicate and build relationships with colleagues across all grades and engage with stakeholders to support the smooth running of the department.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Diary management.
  • Preparing meeting folders
  • Taking meeting minutes and proactively monitoring actions to be taken forward.
  • Managing logistics for events and visits.
  • Booking travel and accommodation (in line with the unit’s travel policy).
  • Leading on team knowledge information management, taking oversight of the electronic records structure and ensuring good practice is shared and encouraged.
  • Providing cover to the private office team as required.
  • General administration and project support, to include setting up purchase orders and maintaining key databases and spreadsheets.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative role is desirable.
