As Health & Safety Administrator you will support the HSQE Manager to ensure that the company and its subsidiaries comply with all relevant health safety and compliance legislation.
Support HSQE manager in enforcing policies to ensure to support and establish a culture of Health and Safety.
Support HSQE Manager in delivering induction training and deliver toolbox talks to employees
Support HSQE Manager in undertaking site inspections and delivery of service improvement plans
Record all accidents via SMART LOG
Report RIDDOR’s via HSE Website
Provide regular updates to HSQE Manager
Work with FM team on appropriate selection of PPE and equipment
Complete risk assessments as required
Ensure quality of documentation is managed and controlled
To maintain the supplier and subcontractor approval process
Assist with maintaining the company’s ISO Accreditations
Any other duties as reasonably required from time
About the Candidate
Be a Health and Safety Graduate or have relevant experience as an Administrator
Preferably have experience working in construction or Building Services Industry
Be willing to develop in the role
Have Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have the ability to work under pressure and meet company KPIs
Be confident to support and on occasions deliver company inductions
Be able support managers where necessary to deliver Tool box talks
Have good IT skills
Have the ability to prioritise
Be trustworthy and discreet
Have good time management skills
Be a good listener with the ability to problem solve
Be able to inform employees of changing legislation and promote best working practice
Essential Qualifications/ Skills
Knowledge of H&S in construction or Building Services Industry
Good understanding of ISO 9001/14001/22301/27001 – OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001)
Full UK Driving licence and willing to travel to sites as required
Points of Appeal
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependant on experience
21 days holiday increasing by 1 day every 2 years’ service up to a maximum of 25 days, plus statutory days
