My client is expanding in terms of capacity and capability due to acquisition and organic growth. Product Safety plays a critical role in ensuring company increases its reputation and market share whilst providing safe sustainable products and advice on handling, labelling and transport.

Job Description

Ensure data related to Classification & Labelling of Products (CLP) & Global Harmonised System (GHS) is maintained.

Ensure corporate labelling requirement deadlines are maintained.

Maintain data requirements within UK / EU Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (REACH), and the registration and notification of poisons.

Ensure Product SDSs are available to internal stakeholders to be able to satisfy customer requirements

Jointly develop and issue Customs declarations with R&D to accompany various consignments / exports to non-EU countries

Support the Product Safety Manager in the maintenance of EHS master data on SAP for all raw materials and Products manufactured / sold in the UK

Skills/Experience

Attention to detail.

Knowledge of SAP & Microsoft Office Packages

Medium level knowledge of excel spreadsheets - filters, simple equations, sorting, data manipulation

Previous experience dealing with complex data where accuracy is paramount. adherence to the corporate deadlines - no issues

Export documentation completed accurately in a timely fashion.

Develop skills to become a familiar, knowledgeable user of the various software packages used by the company to generate Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Dangerous Goods Notes and Packaging Labels.
