The Assistant Management Accountant will cover the following;

• Profit and loss account analysis and review for internal and external stakeholders.
• Compilation of data and production of monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Preparation of year end accounts and audit schedules.
• Creation and management of fixed assets.
• Reconciliation and review of Balance Sheet accounts.
• Budget and forecast preparation and review.
• Intrastat, PSA, EC Sales reporting and other regulatory reporting.
• Completion of annual statutory accounts, supported by appropriate schedules and commentary, for jointly owned businesses.
• Project and administrative support.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ambition - Keen for an active studier who is working towards becoming a Management Accountant in the next few years. Keenness to understand the business - We want someone who is keen to understand the wider business outside their role and can demonstrate how they have done this in previous roles. Flexibility - The purpose of the role is to support the Management Accountant and Accounts Assistants as they work on the Business Transformation Project. The candidate will be required to work across both the Wholesale and Retail Team and will not always have a set list of tasks every month. As such the ability to be flexible and pick up different things/work on different projects will be key. Ability to influence change - The business is going through a period of immense change and we are keen for someone who can initiate change and improve their processes. Energy and engagement - We want a self-starter who will bring energy and enthusiasm to the team. Ideally part qualified ACCA/CIMA or very experience AAT Qual Proficient in SAP- advantage
