Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Applications Manager, the successful candidate will have the following responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive): 
 

  • Ensuring that the field sales team have what they need for their visits;
  • To check leads coming in on the system and follow up;
  • Booking appointments, travel and product trials for the Technical Applications Managers;
  • Updating the CRM system with all notes from client meetings;
  • Booking follow up calls/visits;
  • Outbound telemarketing and lead generation to prospects.


To be considered for the Technical Sales Support Administrator role you must be confident in a face paced environment. The candidate will have a degree (preferably in a science-based subject) and at least four years’ experience in a technical sales environment. You must have demonstrable experience generating new business and booking meetings and have had sales training. Experience of selling into the food and beverage industry would be advantageous but not essential.

Strong administrative experience – Word, Excel, typing etc Enthusiastic with a good telephone manner Happy to spend a large part of the day on the telephone
