Job Description

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the timely & accurate preparation of the monthly management accounts, related reporting and elements of the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts. You will also ensure commercial and operational assumptions underpinning new product and activation financials are realistic, and are aligned and owned by key stakeholders. Additional duties will include:

• Developing a strong understanding of the business, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, drive sales, improve margin and reduce costs
• Ad hoc and proactive analysis to influence decisions
• Analysing and making recommendations for investment which lead to operational efficiencies and drive sales/margin

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

As a qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA Accountant, you will likely have 3-5 years PQE and be available to commence a new role over the course of April/Early May. The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of key business performance measures and have the ability to develop operational strategies to leverage desirable outcomes. You’ll be flexible and able to work under pressure, keeping to strict deadlines. A willingness to get involved and have a "hands on" approach when necessary is a success factor in this role.
