Job Description

This role will suit an ambitious Top 10 trained first time mover who is prepared to work hard in order to be successful within a prestigious organisation under a strong leadership team.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the production of accurate and insightful management reporting
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, together with commentary and analysis, ensuring complete accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain and ensure delivery of timetable for all aspects of internal and external reporting requirements
• Ensure reports are accurate and question and challenge areas which are not understood, to ensure clear commentary is provided to readers
• Work pro-actively with the Financial Controller to ensure management accounts reporting is satisfactorily delivered
• Pro-actively seek to improve systems and processes to automate where possible
• Support the Financial Controller in forecasting Balance Sheet and Cashflows across relevant entities
• Ad hoc project work

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• ACA/ACCA qualified - ideally from Top 10 training background • Would suit individual looking at first/second move into industry • Strong Excel skills • Analytical skills • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Time management skills • Flexible approach to workload and opportunities • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline
