Job Description

The candidate will join a busy team assisting with shipping orders and regularly liaising with customers. The successful candidate should have strong customs knowledge, as well as general export experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain regular communication with customers to assist with enquiries
* Process high volumes of customer sales on an international scale
* Handle the processing of purchase orders and shipment invoices
* Chase and obtain all relevant export documentation
* Reconcile imports/exports
* Regularly contact with couriers and freight forwarders
* Updating commodity codes in accordance with HMRC guides
* Ensure packing/picking is accurate and efficient
* Liaise with warehouse and operative teams
* Comply with H&S and HR procedures
* Handle any additional tasks as and when requested


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Strong knowledge of export procedures, processes and terminology * Strong understanding of international trade * Experienced handling MS packages, in-house systems, and export systems * High attention to detail
