An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join up with an established firm of Accountants based in Manchester; The Accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Junior Accountant to join the business services team and work with a plethora of different clients while carrying out statutory accounts and assisting in audits from time to time.

Accounts Assistant Position Overview

Occasionally assisting on Audits when required (experience isnt a necessary requirement)
Bookkeeping for a number of clients
Preparing management Accounts
Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation provisions
Preparing VAT returns
Assist colleagues and chip in with other aspects as and when required

Accounts Assistant Position Remuneration

£18,000 - £24,000 Per annum
Pension contribution scheme
20 days holiday allowance

Study support with AAT and ACCA

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

2+ years of experience in an Accountancy practice The candidate will preferably be studying AAT Experience using Xero and other cloud-based software would be advantageous Experience Bookkeeping and preparing statutory accounts
