Improving the business performance of assigned sub-divisions through the use of financial and other MI
Provision of accurate external and internal reporting, often to tight deadlines
Providing effective commercial procedures and/or initiating change to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets of assigned sub-divisions are delivered
Provision of ad-hoc financial and commercial analysis to Directors and Senior Managers in the business to aid decision support
Provide project support for new business initiatives including financial modeling, project appraisal, and cost monitoring
Management of the annual budget cycle for assigned sub-divisions incorporating mid-year and rolling re-forecasts as applicable
Other tasks, including month-end procedures (accruals and prepayments) and on-going cost monitoring for the More 2 Life division as necessary
We are looking for someone who is part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
The candidate will need strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
Experience of working in a finance team is essential
Willingness to use initiative and work without detailed instructions
Have an analytical mind and can-do attitude
Ability to work accurately under pressure and comfortable with strict deadlines
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to confidently communicate with non-finance staff
