You will be responsible for taking minutes and coordinating all meetings, and will also be responsible for supporting the Curriculum Project Coordinator in arranging consultation events related to this curriculum project.
The Administrator role offers the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of working in the field of medical education and health education providers.
In this role you will start to gain, or build upon knowledge of pediatric research and current issues within child health by actively participating in the development of this new curricular programme, designed for regulated health professionals currently working with children and young people. This position within the team requires excellent customer service and administration skills along with the ability to multi-task and liaise efficiently and effectively with the relevant stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Quality & Standards, you will be responsible for providing all administrative support for team related meetings and work streams. You will support and manage the servicing of key committees of clinicians; support in organizing consultation and engagement events and collect, collate and maintain team information as required by the project managers.
Educated to a good standard, you should have demonstrable relevant administrative skills with some experience of curriculum development, along with experience of minute taking and basic data analytics knowledge.
It would be beneficial for you to have an understanding of how the medical training and education is structured along with an interest in improving child health outcomes.
Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support for all areas of the team and ensure tasks and responsibilities are completed in a competent manner. This includes providing support to different research and evidence related projects.
2. Plan, coordinate and communicate online/face to face programme meetings and activities. With the support of the Head of Quality & Standards and the Curriculum Project Coordinator .
3. Review and prepare material in support of Research and Evidence activities including handouts, schedules, templates, surveys, video/audio editing, etc.
4. Provide administrative support for committees within the Quality & Standards (Curriculum) team taking accurate and comprehensive minutes and notes as required and coordinate compiling papers and liaising with chairs, attendees, team members and clinical leads.
5. To support the Curriculum Project Coordinator in organizing events and meetings as required, including all aspects around communications, venues, catering and travel as needed.
6. To support the Curriculum Project Coordinator with finance functions for the Team and manage purchase orders, invoices and expenses.
7. To support the project teams in drafting documents, making use of agreed templates, applying changes, re-drafting and preparing documents.
8. Compile and analyze basic data to complement and support the aims and activities of the curriculum project.
9. Monitor and provide support via phone and programme mailboxes ensuring all queries are answered, using clinical experts and team colleagues for advice if necessary.
10. Support the Curriculum Project Coordinator with the communications strategy and to be responsible for the design and production of communication and promotional literature for a range of audiences (newsletters, conferences, social media etc.)
