About Us

Young Epilepsy is the children and young people’s epilepsy charity. What sets us apart is our focus on giving a voice and a platform to people who have the condition, so that we are able to learn from them and support changes in societal understanding, attitudes and responsiveness - providing higher quality health, education and family support services as a result. Increasingly, we are developing our digital platforms and on-line offers to children and families.

We fund pioneering research into epilepsy in partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital and the UCL Institute of Child Health. We run a special education school and college in Lingfield, Surrey and also provide health and residential care services.
