You have the opportunity to work as part of a motivated team in a growing construction business. As the Accounts Manager for the business reporting to the MD you will be responsible for all Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, VAT Returns, Payroll, Pensions, VAT returns and accounts/finance admin. This is a part-time role based on 3 x 8hr days.
Responsibilities
Submission of annual returns/confirmation statements
Compiling information for our chartered accountants to produce annual company accounts
VAT returns/VAT payments to HMRC
Corporation Tax payments
Purchase/Sales Ledger
Payroll
Subcontractor Payments incl CIS returns
Assisting with financial management including cashflow forecasting
Credit Control
Staff expenses
General Accounts/finance admin
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have worked in a senior accounts position for a similar sized business and be proficient in all aspects of Bookkeeping/Accounts Knowledge of Quickbooks or Sage essential Computer literate with good knowledge of Excel. The applicant will need to be an excellent communicator and enjoy working as part of a motivated team.
