You will be responsible for providing support to the Accounts team, reviewing and reconciling accounts (invoices, receipts & expenses) and will support the Accounts team as needed.
Responsibilities
Preparing payments and ensuring paperwork is correct
British Car Auction administration, including invoice posting and allocation
Road Fund License data input
Assisting with the purchase ledger scans and to process invoices – specifically Manufacture account and Allocation report
Manage and Input Motability costs onto the system
Control of company accident claims
Some month end administration
Update accounting databases and spread sheets
Identify and address admin discrepancies
Distribution of the post
Managing & control of supplies for finance team, stationery, & general office tasks as required
On offer:
Basic salary to be paid at National Minimum Wage. ): 23yrs and over is £8.91ph, 21yrs to 22yrs is £8.36ph 18yrs to 20yrs is £6.56ph, under 18yrs is £4.62ph
Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (37.5hrs per week)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good, clear communication skills to communicate credibly with our customers, colleagues and management. Organized with good administration and time management ability Good data entry skills with the ability to identify errors. Intermediate IT skills including the ability to use Microsoft with the aptitude to grasp other IT & Accounts systems. Intermediate Excel knowledge, creating spread sheets and using formulas. Ideally, to have experience of working in a busy administrative role, preferable within Finance/Accounts. Minimum of 3 GSCEs grade C and above in English, Math and ICT (or another subject if the candidate did not take ICT) / Level 4 or above.
