Our clients are predominantly SMEs you will generally be working from their premises good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently are pre-requisites.
Typically your responsibilities will include:
Invoice, receipts and payments processing
Processing monthly journals including accruals and prepayments
Bank and other monthly control account reconciliations
Maintenance of the general ledger to trial balance
Preparation of VAT returns
You can expect to earn in the region of £15 per hour.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ideally you will: Have a bookkeeping qualification and be able to demonstrate at least two years’ experience in a similar role. Be an experienced user of Sage or other similar accounting software package. Have good Excel skills. A good understanding of accounting fundamentals.
