Accountancy Practice - Merseyside - Semi Senior Accountant - Study available

Your new firm
You will be working with a highly regarded and well established firm of chartered accountants based in the Merseyside area. With the recent opening of a Liverpool city centre office this Bootle based firm have seen continuous growth and successes which has resulted in the need for extra resource in the Accounting team. You will be joining a firm that offer audit, accounts tax and payroll to their varied client base and has an excellent reputation in the local area.

Your new role
As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will be working with a range of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships who come from industries such as retail, hospitality, wholesale and manufacturing to name but a few. The role will require you to prepare the statutory accounts for a set group of clients from scratch and through to manager review.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you will have at least a couple of years experience working within an accounting firm previously and should be able to complete a set of statutory accounts relatively autonomously. This role will see you liaise with both clients and colleagues alike so good communication skills are essential as is the ability to work to deadlines. You will be able to use various cloud based systems and have a good knowledge of IT systems in general.
