Job Description

You will join a busy accounts department and be responsible for producing weekly and monthly accounts You will be a point of contact for a number of specific business units, assisting with commercial matters such as pricing, business analysis, contract reviews and produce MI packs. You will be part of an established team working in an open plan office helping others whilst maintaining a professional outlook. This role sits under the company's Commercial Financial Director, your duties will include:

*Preparation, review and analysis of accurate and timely management accounts including commentary
*VAT Return
*Continual review and improvement of procedures and key controls
*Maintaining accurate accounts records
*Purchase ledger
*Overseeing the sales ledger, including two Credit Controllers and a Credit Control Manager
*Weekly reporting on debtors highlighting any areas of concern
*Raising BACS payments, Foreign currency payments
*Maintaining accurate nominal records within Sage 200
*Produce Accounts reports
*Monthly payroll IRO 75 employees
*Nominal Ledger
*Accruals/Prepayments/Journals, producing management accounts for review
*Respond to and resolve customer queries and service issues in a timely and professional manner including feedback to the relevant business areas
*Any other duties requested by your line manager which are commensurate to your post
*Sales analysis
*Stock analysis
*Working with senior management in developing bespoke IT system to incorporate all functions within the business
*Ad hoc projects and reporting

Candidate Requirements:
*Qualified in CIMA/ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) or due to qualify within 6 months
*Previous experience managing others
*Strong communication skills both written and verbal
*A can-do attitude
*Advanced excel user
Ideally you will have previous experience within a management accountant position. Consideration will also be given to anyone from a practice background looking to make their first move into industry. Previous experience within the services sector would also be advantageous but not essential.
