Job Description

You will be an integral member of the Air Staff and will need to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and other stakeholders across the Royal Air Force and Ministry of Defense.

Responsibilities

Lead on the use and exploitation of knowledge, information and learning within the Air Staff, management and organization of the knowledge and information systems, including updating key management information on SharePoint and MS TEAMS, and robustly managing information governance.
Manage first line IT support for Air Staff personnel; organizing hardware and software updates with the iHub, supporting the delivery of short-term projects, such as the roll out of new IT systems, and providing assistance and guidance on the use of electronic devices and IT systems.
As the Authorized Demander, lead on the ordering and procurement of items, including stationary and non-standard items, support the monitoring and compilation of financial information, including tracking expenditure, and ensuring service balances quality and cost effectiveness.
Efficient delivery of logistical and administrative support, including booking travel, accommodation and hospitality, organizing meetings/conferences, supporting the onboarding/off boarding of personnel and providing basic secretariat functions, which meets business needs at pace.
Champion new capabilities and ways of working, including future Defense Digital concepts and best practice, contribute to an inclusive work environment and aid cooperation, whilst ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and MOD policies and procedures.
