Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will work to present financial data across all stakeholder groups. The role will also lead a team to ensure that the preparation and submission of statutory accounts is completed in compliance with relevant legislation and accounting frameworks.

Other responsibilities include:

• Ensure preparation and submission of statutory accounts and other group reporting to agreed timescales and in compliance with relevant legislation and accounting frameworks.
• Act as key point of contact for the external auditors, ensuring smooth year end process and audit.
• Provide guidance as to expected cash flow performance; analysing and explaining variances to expectations and identifying mitigating circumstances and identifying areas to improve the working capital position of the business.
• Balance sheet management including ownership of fixed asset register and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Daily reporting including, net income reporting and analysis and daily cash position.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

As the successful candidate you will be professionally qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA). You will also have proven and demonstrable experience of leading a team where you motivate, inspire and build the confidence of colleagues. You will also be able to display gravitas and assertiveness and challenges the status quo, whilst maintaining a high level of credibility.
