Job Description

Responsible for supporting the smooth running of the Credit Control and Accounts processes as part of the Finance Team.

Key responsibilities and tasks

  • Work with relevant parties to ensure early resolution of credit issues and invoice queries
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s credit control policy
  • Maintain credit limits for all customers and adherence to those limits
  • Ensure compliance with agreed supplier payment terms
  • Comply with the requirements of the finance timetable, ensuring controls are satisfied and deadlines achieved
  • Proactively investigate exceptions and queries that may arise
  • Document filing and other general administrative tasks

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least 2 year’s experience in a similarly varied role. Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping for the general recording of financial transactions. Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Experience in dealing with different currencies and customers with different shipping terms. Experience in the accounts payable process. Experience in credit control.
