Job Description

The successful candidate will play an integral role in the day-to-day ongoing administration of client’s accounts, which in this team are mainly intermediaries and IFA's. This is a busy and varied role and no two days will be the same. You will be providing the best possible service to our colleagues and clients as part of a cohort of likeminded individuals, who strive to achieve great results while constantly learning and adapting to improving systems and working practices. You will already have a few year’s experience in administration and are now looking to continue your administration career. You may have prior experience in financial services or be looking to transfer your administration skills into a new sector.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Assisting with the day to day administration for the team and provide support to senior colleagues.
  • Communicating with Investment Managers, Financial Planners and wider teams.
  • Preparation and processing of all new client documentation and amendments
  • Monitoring of transfers of assets/cash from other institutions
  • ISA subscriptions and transfers
  • Processing of client’s payments
  • Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts
  • Ensuring client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems
  • General record keeping and electronic filing

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Previous administration experience is preferred – additional training will be provided. Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook preferred. Accuracy, attention to detail. Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written. Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales. Flexible and reliable team member. Collaborative and inclusive approach to work.
