The post holder will be responsible for the provision of administrative support to the CMR unit. As the first point of contact with the public they will represent the department in a professional manner, and work efficiently in a busy and demanding environment. The CMR Unit hosts a mix of clinical and research services, and the post holder will manage the reception and the scheduling of clinical appointments, ensuring that relevant waiting times are met.
You will be required to work within a multi-disciplinary team and have a flexible approach to the position with responsibility for managing your own workload in collaboration with the clinical and research teams. Training will be provided where necessary.
Key activities will include reception support, registering new patients, processing incoming referrals, sending out reports, scheduling patient’s CMR appointments, use of the Trusts information management systems and providing a high standard of customer care to patients and visitors to the CMR unit.
