Job Description

- Reporting and preparing Excel spreadsheets and any other monthly reconciliation required

- Preparing costing analysis in response to queries from Sales/Finance/Production etc, to confirm the accuracy of standard costs

- Setting up bills of materials and performing material master amendments whilst continuing to update and review the standard costings for multiple sites, including managing the Change Management system and ensuring all sites follow the correct and agreed process

- Assisting the preparation of the monthly management accounts including preparing accruals, variance reporting and costing analysis

- Supporting the Stock Accountant, who is part of the costing team, with performing ad-hoc weekly PI audit checks on each area of inventory held at all UK sites

- Understanding the Production/Process orders and processes in other departments, by exploring not only all the UK sites but also functions such as Lean/Logistics/BPC & Master Data

- Travelling to other UK sites to liaise with key stakeholders on those sites to develop a greater understanding of processes
