Job Description

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support, enabling our support team to focus on providing outstanding support to people with learning disabilities. This role will suit a very organised, hard-working ‘can do’ individual. A person who enjoys independently prioritising and delivering a varied workload, finding solutions to a range of problems and maintain confidentiality. The successful candidate will cope well with interruptions, be comfortable with change, have good interpersonal skills and be responsive and supportive to colleagues. With an eye for detail, and good IT skills, the post-holder will ensure we remain compliant with obligations, be transparent on process, and highlight concerns appearing in the distance.

Key areas of the role include leading the HR administration, logging and organizing repairs, replacements and maintenance, liaising with partner organisations and contractors, ensuring we remain compliant with legal obligations, supporting the CEO and Registered Manager in a range of tasks, taking minutes in meetings, managing our facebook page, and much more.

You will work from the office in our care home. In these COVID times you will be expected to follow procedures and wear a face mask as required, including when working in a shared office space.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Have strong experience in administration, with excellent organisation skills and attention to detail (HR admin experience desirable). Take responsibility for your work, be accountable and transparent with your manager Be passionate about your high standards, maintain confidentiality Be an effective team player; have excellent communication and intepersonal skills. Liaise effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders. Have a high level of literacy and numeracy skills, and competence in microsoft applications Proactively balance a varied and demanding workload and have a willingness and ability to develop new ways of working where required. Have a positive outlook and a sense of humour - a ‘glass half full rather than half empty’.
