Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a caring, dedicated Learning Support Assistant to help and assist the physical, emotional and learning needs of a named Sixth Form student, in order to ensure that they achieve their best academically and become a fully integrated member of the Sixth Form.

Key priorities are to enable the named student to gain the fullest possible access to their chosen curriculum and enable them to pursue all possible extra-curricular opportunities which take their interest, and work under the direction of the SENCO and class teachers to ensure that the specific provision arrangements outlined within the Education Health and Care Plan are met and fulfilled.

The role is temporary to support a named student whilst they remain at the school and would be ideal for those interested in careers in Brain injury rehabilitation, Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, etc. The successful candidate will benefit from close contact and supervision with professionals in these fields.
