Job Description
We have a shop and several market stands, plus a growing wholesale department. Although experience in cheese mongering is not required, we look forward to employing a candidate who shares a passion for food and an understanding of how the industry works.
One year minimum commitment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The candidate will be charged with the following tasks: Assist with daily bookkeeping and finance functions; Assist with the daily processing of wholesale sales orders and invoicing functions; Provide day to day administrative support to the wider team including data inputting, creating templates, document formatting, photocopying and other support on special projects/ assignments within the business as appropriate; Answering incoming calls, taking accurate information and diverting calls to the relevant member of staff. Experience in an office setting; Proficient in the Office suite; Experience of working with different departments, external customers including members of the public; Excellent telephone manner; Entitled to work in the UK without work permit sponsorship; Knowledge of Sage and French language fluency would be beneficial.
