Job Description
Legal AccountantOur client is a well-established and growing Law Firm based in North West London. The Practice has several partners and deal with all aspects of Law. Due to continued growth and expansion, a position has become available for a Legal Accountant to join their growing team.
Responsibilities
* Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, including a detailed monthly written report.
* Departmental profit and loss accounts, contribution statements and performance reports.
* Production of consolidated plans and budgets for the firm.
* Responsibility for maintaining budgets on the Practice
* Calculation of forecast profit and loss position.
* Support stakeholders on request for financial analysis, such as trends or client profitability, providing written explanations.
* Monthly variance analysis of significant cost items.
* Provide pricing and project planning advice to Partners.
* Responsible for setting and maintaining standard and non-standard charge-out client rates on the PMS, keeping records and analysing trends
Candidate Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA)
* Experience of working in the legal industry and be familiar with SRA regulations
