Temp Project Officer/Administrator
Job Description
A Basic DBS is required. A Project Officer is required to join the Healthy Streets Team providing support to a range of personnel across the team, including the Programme Director. You will be supportive of active travel initiatives and ready and willing to spend at least one day a week out and about around the Borough visiting project sites. Key responsibilities:
- Provide support in logging and co-ordination of a range of correspondence including contact from residents and enquires from elected councillors
- Enable public communications work by visiting projects under construction across the Borough and collecting photographs that you can then use in Council social media and newsletter communications
- Support the Programme Management Office with the logistics of programme management meetings, including recording of actions and issues as required by the Head of PMO / Programme Director
- Support to Project Managers to include activities such as raising of purchase orders, and commissioning suppliers to provide services
- Support the wider programme through a range of additional activities, including attending occasional community events, some of which may be held in the evening or weekends.
