Job Description

You will be responsible for managing a substantial portfolio across a number of local clients. It's key for this candidate to have experience in Xero and other cloud accounting software.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with practice experience and a good knowledge of cloud accounting software.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients
• Manage workflow within the team
• Dealing with a varied client portfolio of companies up to £10 million turnover
• Work across a range of sectors, primarily owner managed businesses in ecommerce, manufacturing and construction industry.
• Ensuring advice to clients is accurate, appropriate and clear.
• Resolve technical issues with clients and colleagues
• Supervise staff at varying levels of qualification and experience
• Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard of accuracy and client care.
• Plan assignments effectively, ensuring adequate resources are allocated
• Ensure that the expectations of clients are managed and met or exceeded.
• Communicate effectively with clients and influence matters at client meeting
• Working to understand the needs of the client and the business environment in which they operate.
