. Key responsibilities include:
•Supporting the delivery of a strategic vision with a focus on group financial performance & a 3-year profitability plan
•Overview of reporting, analysis & commentary of financial performance for management & practice group management meetings
•Driving monthly financial performance review meetings with senior stakeholders, setting targeted agendas & associated performance improvement plans
•Leading & co-ordinating practice group budgeting, planning & forecasting
•Proactively identifying areas of under/over performance & making recommendations to address root cause
•Researching peer performance & driving change against relative benchmarks
•Providing commercial finance support to senior management including new business case development, pitch support & recruitment proposals
•Understanding the financial control & statutory reporting environment to support appropriate legal entity recharges & sign off of statutory accounts for different legal entities
As a graduate ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant with a minimum of 8 years PQE gained within a Professional Services, Financial Services or FTSE 250 business, you will demonstrate hands on finance partnering experience, evidence of influencing and implementing business strategies and initiatives, the ability to take a strategic business view and demonstrate how financial management can improve and deliver plans.
