Job Description
  • To assess the psychological needs of children and young people through the most appropriate strategy or approach for that person.
  • To coordinate the individual assessment of children and young people: which may be direct involvement or supervising others to carry out (e.g. psychologist assistant)
  • To work globally with the multi-disciplinary team co-ordinate behaviour support provision so that it is effectively delivered to meet young people’s needs.
  • Provide summaries of progress/intervention/risk assessments where appropriate for MDT’s in advance of the meetings
  • Participate in appropriate quality assurance activity, for example observations of teachers, TAs and intervention staff providing constructive developmental feedback to staff teams to support improvements in practice 

Our team are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Clinical Psychologist who can support our children both individually or in a team or group setting. 

Duties will vary, you must expect to diversify and lend a hand wherever is required.
