Job Description

Due to continued success we are lookingTo s tpport the Head of Talent Development with a whole range of day to day operational L&D matters. The role holder will also manage the overseas L&D arrangements. The role holder will take on a supporting role for L&D/talent projects under the guidance of the Global Head of Talent development as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling training: Creating on Aspire, booking rooms, advertising courses
  • Organise catering for events that are scheduled within BMA house
  • Room set up / preparation paperwork to ensure that the relevant facilitator has all the required resources to deliver their sessions
  • Collecting facilitators from reception at BMA house when a training session is being delivered by an external consultant.
  • Organising Lunch & Learns, whilst obtaining authorisation for budget purposes
  • Administer the Training log and ensure all training data is accurate for the purpose of quarterly and year end reporting
  • Organise and book external venues for training events, whilst ensuring room layout and appropriate catering is requested and confirmed
  • Ensure that all training resources are properly replenished.
  • Sending out and monitoring training evaluations
  • Act as administrator for walled garden - ILM certification programmes,
  • Support employees on how to use the HR Systems (CoreHR, Linkedin Learning and Aspire)
  • Make recommendations to improve LMS to create a better UX
  • As the role holder’s knowledge grows, it is expected that they will take on more responsibility for sourcing trainers, facilitating sessions, the role will be more about coordination of training.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely payment and approval of all L&D Invoices, dealing with any invoicing queries as they arise
  • Organising any team training or off site days
  • Booking & collecting visitors from reception
  • Training requests/ training agreements
  • manage external providers/trainers (QA, Skills Matter, Litmos, Egghead
  • Responsible for organisation of the corporate induction for new starters, including inviting speakers and delegates and ensuring slides are updated as appropriate
  • Support the coordination of our apprenticeship scheme, LEAP.
  • The role holder will be the first point of contact for wellbeing initiatives such as the yoga/ massage/ free fruit provider. Posting communications as and when relevant (linking in with the HRBP for Wellbeing as appropriate)

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
    • Must have 4 GCSE’s and or equivalent level qualification
    • Able to work to tight deadlines and multi task
    • Work unsupervised
    • Good organisational skills
    • Good attention to detail
    • Good understanding with technology

Desirable:

    • Have completed or working towards Level 3 CIPD qualification
