Job Description

The purpose of the role it to be the first point of contact in selling products and services to customers; including individuals, businesses and organisations. Along with working to maintain good relationships with existing clients, gaining repeat business wherever possible, the role also involves undertaking general office administration, customer care and sales support tasks.

Due to the business growth plans this role requires candidate who are wishing to progress and move into a management position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

Sales

  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • Processing new sales leads
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails
  • Providing pre-sales technical advice and information
  • Creating detailed proposal documents

Sales Support

  • Preparing Quotation and Order Confirmation documents
  • Managing the correspondence between the sales team and their clients
  • Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders

Customer Care

  • Maintaining good relationships with customers for the duration of their project and communicating work schedules and timescales effectively
  • Providing after sales technical support and advice

General Duties

  • Supporting the seamless flow of work from point of enquiry to aftersales service
  • Proactively seeking to develop and maintain strong customer relations
  • Developing strong team working with colleagues
  • Undertaking any responsibilities and tasks delegated by senior management

Job Specific Requirements

•             Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Interest in the products we sell and developing their product and technical knowledge

My client is looking for someone to work Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700

An annual salary of up to £23,000 will be offered.
