Job Description

Finance Manager - Key Objectives:

This is a varied role with responsibility for both financial and management accounting.

Management of the accounts payable, receivable, credit control and banking functions (two direct reports).

Finance Manager - Requirements:

- Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)

- Commercially aware

- Supporting the Finance Director in the day to day running of the company’s finances.

- VAT and other statutory returns processes

- Regular review of costs with a view to identification of possible savings measures

- Presenting financial information to senior managers and assisting them in making informed business decisions

- Assist in roll-out of ERP system to overseas subsidiaries

Finance Manager - Essential Skills:

- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).

Finance Manager - Desired Skills:

- Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)

- Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively throughout the business

- Commercially aware

- Strong analytical skills

- Enthusiastic and able to use own initiative

- Good team player and flexible approach to ensure deadlines are met

- Confident user of Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint

- Implementation of a new finance system

- Experience of Microsoft Dynamics AX would be especially useful
