Key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Reconciliation of company bank accounts
- Employee expenses
- Implementing corporate governance
- procedures, risk management and internal
- controls
- Ensuring compliance with all financial
- regulations
- Dealing with accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare detailed annual budget breakdowns
- Ensuring all pre-payments and monthly
- accruals are calculated and posted on relevant
- systems
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Financial forecasting
- Cash flow planning
- Cost management
- Delivering day to day financial disciplines
- Investigating anomalies/resolving problems
- Implementation of electronic expense system
To be considered for the role of Management Accountant you must have the following requirements:
- 3 + years Management Accountant/Senior Accountant experience
- CIMA qualification & ACCA or ACA qualified
- Proficient knowledge of Sage Line 50
- Comprehensive knowledge of cash flow management and forecasting
- Ability to provide financial management advice to the board of directors
- Expert knowledge of MS Office
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Able to deliver without direct supervision
- Confident communicator with the ability to Cost management
- Delivering day to day financial disciplines
- Investigating anomalies/resolving problems
- Implementation of electronic expense system explain complex financial information in a logical and clear way
- Demonstrable experience of working under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A passion for finance and its best practices
Working Hours: 2/3 days per week (to be agreed at interview) - 08:30 - 17:30
Salary: In return for this role my clients are looking to offer a basic salary of £45,000 - £50,000 pro rata.
