Job Description

We are looking for someone to start immediately; on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 9.00-17.00 working up until at least the end of March 21 with our well known, highly regarded client. Assignments are often extended and many of our candidates do also go on to secure permanent contracts with this organisation.

Below is an overview of some of the tasks you will be performing on a day to day basis if you are successful:

• Inputting data, scanning information, filing information electronically, issuing data as required and ensuring data accuracy.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with hiring managers.
• Undertake identity checks in line with national guidance and local policy and escalate issues appropriately.
• Support the processing of Disclosure and Barring Service check applications.
• Assist with query handling on the HR reception, as well as welcoming and directing visitors.
• Assist in the collation and distribution of information as required.
• Support the team in taking and responding to phone calls and responding to enquiries.
• Responsible for responding to queries sent to the Recruitment email inbox and the internal message system, escalating to the Team Leader as required.
• Hold a key role in engaging candidates in the recruitment and on-boarding process to support the retention of new starters.
• Respond to queries from employees and direct appropriately if unable to answer the query.
• Attend events including recruitment fairs, open days, targeted recruitment events.
• Be actively involved in the department’s business continuity planning and understand responsibilities in emergency situations.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office Software. • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent • You must be prepared to undertake relevant training/qualifications to develop skills required to carry out duties and in line with the apprenticeship programme with timescales set • Proficient keyboard skills demonstrated by ability to produce correspondence using a range of MS Office packages • Knowledge of confidentiality • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail • Confident to make and receive telephone calls • Customer service focused
