Job Description

A company who provide IT solutions for industrial manufacturing organisations is looking for a Administrator to join there Engineering team. Providing there service to major names within the UK industry across a variation of sector such as Automotive, Aerospace, Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Proposals and Presales Support

  • Prepare, co-ordinate and assist as required
  • Proposal template
  • Cost estimate templates (Adding HW/SW BOM in cost estimates).
  • Adding supporting information in proposals
  • Arranging presales/due diligence telecons with customers

Projects/site visits

  • Co-ordinate/confirm dates with customers
  • Logistics planning for Engineers (Hotels, Rental cars etc.)
  • Printing and Binding for Project Documents
  • Purchase orders for project kit (HW/SW)
  • Follow up with suppliers for delivery/status any issues
  • Delivery of HW/SW to customer sites
  • Preparing sign off sheets/delivery notes for Engineers
  • Project Document filing (scans, pictures from visits, hard copes etc.)
  • Supporting any inhouse customers meetings FATs
  • Creating support tickets and sending acknowledgement to customers, support reports etc.
  • Any other misc. support such as stationary for projects/in house print cartages etc/
  • Arranging telecons with customers/suppliers

Training

  • Co-ordinate the training dates/logistics with customers
  • Prepare for training course (Print, Bind agenda, Training Documents, Certificates, feedback forms)
  • For in house training support trainer in various actives (arranging Tea/Coffee, snacks and lunches)
  • Hotel Booking for trainer

Engineering office assists and Housing keeping

  • Inventory management/stock check
  • Keeping track of Engineering Hardware and Software
  • General housekeeping of Engineering office (Making sure the HW/SW are kept at the right locations
  • Check-in/Check-out of assets/customer hardware

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
