Job Description

You'll find that the work is varied and challenging and will include system administration, enhancements, configuration, fault finding, bug fixing, system design and build.
For this role, in addition to systems administration experience, you'll need to have a good understanding of relational database design and demonstrable, practical experience in SQL and Technical System Support
Key skills, experience and responsibilities
* A degree in Computer Science, Business IT or equivalent
* Previous experience working in a systems and database administration role
* Detailed knowledge of Server configuration and Microsoft Database Applications
* Systems & SQL Database Administration
* System & Database continuity planning and testing
* Proactively monitor systems & database servers and respond to escalated alerts from 2nd line to 3rd line
* System Technical Support
* Own, investigate and see through to resolution incidents assigned to the team
* Involvement in project work, including scoping requirements and creating technical documentation

Systems, Databases and Architecture Supported
* SQL Version 2012 and higher - SQL Cluster - SQL Mirror and Replication
* Windows Server 2016 / Windows 10 for desktops and user laptops
* CAD (999) / PTS / IUC (111) / Estates / Finance
