Job Description
The role is offered on a temporary basis for 6 months and will be remote working for the foreseeable future. The hourly pay range is between £12.09 to £15.00 (dependent on relevant experience)
The successful candidate will provide full administrative support to the Division Managers in all aspects of the work relating to events.
Duties:
- Undertake administrative processes for events as instructed by the relevant Division manager.
- Act as first point of contact for events
- Monitor email inboxes, responding to queries and updating records
- Process delegate and speaker registrations, payments and refunds
- Send event communications, including speaker invitations, reminders and confirmations
- Assist with the production and delivery of promotional emails and other marketing materials
- Prepare event materials including badges, delegate packs, course materials and lists, as instructed by the Division Managers
- Attend designated events to provide onsite support and register delegates
- Register delegates, speakers and guests and process payments and refunds
- Prepare reports from databases
- Update designated event webpages
- Deputies and provide cover for the Divisional Managers as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent administrative skills and proven administration experience in a busy, customer-focused environment. Excellent organization with the ability to multi-task. Excellent time management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team. Ability delivering a high standard of customer service. Excellent telephone manner and an ability to manage a large volume of calls. Ability to work flexibly under pressure while remaining calm and maintaining accuracy. Willingness to travel and stay away overnight. Educated to degree level/equivalent qualification. Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) for editing and uploading web page content. Experience of administering and organizing training courses and conferences. Experience of working in a similar environment.
