This role is for someone looking for an opportunity within a busy HR team to support the Directors and line managers in the absence of the HR Manager whilst she is on Maternity leave.
As the HR Administrator you will be responsible for supporting colleague engagement, retention, absence and succession planning as part of your daily duties. In addition, training is a big part of the HR function which you will assist Management to deliver any training onsite.
You will support with all site HR functions as well as the payroll and pensions administration function. You will be responsible for imp;implementing company H&S procedures, including fire drills and PAT testing updates and Fire.
A strong strategic mind and knowledge of best business practices.
Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date and align with current legislation.
Support departmental managers with HR related advice and provide suitable guidance, training and support where relevant.
Arrange and undertake all exit interviews and utilise all information provided to develop metrics to inform and instruct change.
Review sickness records, analyse trends and patterns and consider any action that may be needed.
Support all members of the HR team to ensure the smooth running of the HR Function.
Recruitment & onboarding. Excellent generalist knowledge of HR and business strategy.
Experienced with the whole recruitment cycle.
CIPD qualified or at least one years’ experience in a HR Advisor position.
Confident and clear communicator.
Great organisational skills.
This role will suit a proactive, professional and approachable HR Administrator who has experience of supporting a HR function within a medium-sized organisation.
A brilliant opportunity for someone that enjoys working in a busy HR environment, has experience with attednign disciplinary meetings, employee relations issues, HR admin and assisting with policy updates.
A sound understanding of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
